Epic Records announcesAndr 3000scompanion piece to the three-time Grammy nominatedNew Blue Sun. This mostly instrumental release is the soundtrack to a short film entitledMoving Day. Housed in a fold-out poster sleeve jacket and polybagged, this collectors vinyl piece will be released on heavyweight 180g black vinyl.

Moving Daycaptures Andr 3000 in a very important time. BeforeNew Blue Sunwas recorded, filmmaker Dexter Navy films Andr in Venice Beach, California. The score forMoving Dayis a weaving of field recordings from the date of filming, an impromptu Q&A by Navy to Andr, and post studio recording performed forward then backward while watching the film. The additional track Tunnels of Egypt is an unreleasedNew Blue Sunsessions recording.
