LET’S GO! Not only is that a song title, but its also an invitation from us at Slovenly to buy a ticket and take a ride with ANGEL FACE and their brand new second album Out In The Street. Tokyo, Japan has bred many a band that takes rock n roll into the stratosphere in ways that no other country can touch. And the proof is in these grooves as FINK (TEENGENERATE), HERCULES, TOYOZO (FADEAWAYS) and RAYCO once again show us how its done in a way only they can pull off. Halo melting rock n roll with attitude and more hooks than a pirate convention, if this album was released 20, 30, FORTY years ago, it would be considered a classic. So why cant that apply to now? Trust us, it does. If you played this to the uninitiated, I guarantee you they couldnt guess what year its from. Its so damn authentic and ticks off every box for what a near perfect rock n roll album should be. Near perfect songs, near perfect performances, near perfect recording. Its all here! No need for the tired (fill in the blank) meets (fill in the blank) comparisons, this is all Angel Face. 10 would be, SHOULD BE hits, waiting to dissipate your turntable. Our theory of why they are out in the street is that the four enclosed walls where this music was made couldnt contain it. After listening to this album you might need to get out in the street too
