Just in time for the lover’s season The Altons deliver “Waiting” b/w “Teach Me to Forget You” – two brand new sides of sweet soul sublimity. “Waiting” the lead track off their forthcoming album Heartache in Room 14 is a moody, mid-tempo tune that creeps along with indubitable swing. With lead vocals duties shared between Adriana Flores and Bryan Ponce the interplay between their unique timbres brings a romantic quality to the music that is absent in many of today’s soul offerings. On the flip and exclusive to this 45 is “Teach Me to Forget You”, a feel-good mover that features the ever-soulful Adriana on lead vocals. A must for soul DJs and enthusiasts alike!
