Necropalaceis a blackened, doom-laden foray into the horrific and the romantic, conjured by the ever-gestating vampiric entity known asWORM.WORMinscribed their first chapter with releases like 2021sForevergladeand the 2023Starpathsplit with Dream Unending (both on 20 Buck Spin). They carried that vision onto the road with the 2023 Decibel Tour alongside Hulder and Devil Master, as well as runs with Gatecreeper and Frozen Soul. Through it all,WORMhas embodied the sounds of darkness with a rare sense of ambition. Mixed by Arthur Rizk (Blood Incantation, Power Trip) and featuring vaunted guitar master Marty Friedman on the albums closing track,Witchmoon,Necropalaceis the purest distillation yet of WORMs self-branded Nekromantic Black Doomrendered in blood-stained technicolor. A cinematic, unforgettable modern metal masterpiece.
